Elodie Amann spent over a decade as a professional engineer — working in mining and construction, solving complex problems with precision and purpose. She understood how things were built, and more importantly, why they lasted. But it was a chance invitation from her godmother in a small village in France that changed everything. Elodie tried aqua fitness for the first time in 2010 — and was immediately struck by how extraordinary it felt. A genuinely hard workout that left her energised, not broken. Her godmother, who hadn't exercised in fifteen years, was laughing and glowing. Elodie was completely hooked. When she moved to Australia, she expected to find aqua fitness everywhere. A country famous for its pools, its sunshine, and its obsession with an active lifestyle — surely aquatic exercise would be thriving here? It wasn't. In fact, it was almost nowhere to be found. So Elodie did what engineers do. She identified the gap, found the solution, and built something to fill it. In 2018, she founded Aquatec Fitness — becoming Australia's exclusive distributor of AquaNess, Europe's most trusted professional aquatic exercise equipment, designed and manufactured in France. Today, Aquatec equipment is used in Australian homes, physiotherapy clinics, hospitals, aged care facilities, and wellness centres across the country. Every single customer deals with Elodie personally — because she genuinely believes that the right equipment, matched to the right person, changes lives.

Every Aquatec product is designed and manufactured in France by AquaNess — a specialist aquatic fitness brand with over a decade of engineering expertise, trusted by professional facilities across Europe, the USA, and now Australia.

When Elodie chose AquaNess as her supplier, the decision came down to three things: the quality of the engineering, the use of high-grade aluminium over cheaper stainless steel, and the genuine commitment to products that work equally well in a backyard pool and a professional rehabilitation clinic.

The result is a range that weighs just 10–13 kg — less than half of competing steel models — while delivering the structural integrity and corrosion resistance needed to perform year after year in chlorinated and saltwater environments.

Aquatec Fitness & the NDIS 

Aquatec Fitness is a NDIS supplier. All products — aqua bikes, aquatic treadmills, and aqua trampolines — are available through every NDIS program. 

 We work directly with NDIS participants, support coordinators, and carers to identify the right equipment and facilitate the purchasing process. Our products are used extensively in hydrotherapy for rehabilitation, mobility support, and low-impact exercise — in both home and professional facility settings.
